This is exactly where the Client Channels area starts. The focus is on central digital and physical touchpoints between ZKB and its customers, which connect needs with technology, processes, user experience, security, and operations. These include, among others, eBanking, Mobile Banking, as well as digital opening, onboarding, and lifecycle processes.

Within Client Channels, interdisciplinary DevOps teams work on the development and further development of digital services along the central customer interfaces. The teams closely connect business and technology and bear responsibility for their solutions throughout the entire lifecycle – from conception and development to stable operations. In doing so, the principle "You build it, you run it" applies consistently.

To support the "Pandit" team, we are looking for you as an experienced: Tech Lead / Java Fullstack Software Engineer - eBanking.

Your challenge

• Further development and operation of five business-critical eBanking applications based on microservices and self-contained systems with a focus on backend with Java and Spring in the Kubernetes environment
• Technical leadership in combination with software development/solution architecture. In doing so, 70–80 % of your activity is dedicated to software development, coaching, and DevOps, and 20–30 % to solution architecture
• Designing and implementing demanding banking requirements together with internal stakeholders and the DevOps team
• Developing and reviewing solution architectures with a view to security, scalability, resilience, and performance
• Ensuring code quality and operational stability and sharing the end-to-end responsibility
• Coaching developers, constructive reviewing of code, and promoting Clean Code, TDD, CI/CD, and observability
• Contributing technical and methodological impulses as well as further developing the cooperation between development, testing, operations, and monitoring

Your qualities and talents

• Education in (business) informatics at HF, FH, or university level or several years of relevant professional experience
• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend with Java, Spring
• At least 2 years of frontend experience, preferably with Angular; React is a suitable alternative
• At least 3 years of experience with solution architectures
• High degree of personal responsibility and quality standards as well as enjoyment of technical leadership, coaching, and constructive cooperation
• Fluent German skills at least at C1 level
