Softwareengineerjobszurich.ch does one thing: software engineering roles in the city of Zürich. No national listings padding the count, no roles two train hours away, only the openings you could reach on foot or by tram.
For a single city that still covers a lot. Platform teams at the big banks, insurers, the ETH spinoffs around Oerlikon and the Hönggerberg, the engineering offices the large tech firms keep here, agencies, and the startups in Kreis 4 and 5 all appear in the same list.

Why it’s free
Charging for a job board mostly filters out the small teams that make the Zürich scene interesting. Reading is free, posting is free, and the site is cheap enough to run that neither has to change.
Common questions
- Is this the city only, or the whole canton?
- The city of Zürich. A role in Winterthur or Zug belongs on a wider board, and counting it here would make the number meaningless.
- Is posting really free?
- Yes, for every employer and every role, with no account and no fee.
- Do I apply here?
- No. Every posting links to the employer’s own application page or address, so nothing runs through us.
- Which languages does the site speak?
- German, English, French and Italian. The interface follows the language you pick, and a posting is shown in it once its translation is ready; until then you read the original.
- How do I take a posting down?
- Through the private link we email when it goes live, without an account. That link withdraws the posting rather than editing it, so a correction means posting again.
