To strengthen our cloud and AI platform capabilities, we are looking for an experienced engineer with deep hands-on expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and modern MLOps platforms. This is not a data scientist role. We are looking for a software and platform engineer who loves building and operating cloud infrastructures, AI platforms, and machine learning environments in production. Your tasks As a Senior AWS & MLOps Engineer, you will: • Design, implement, and operate a cloud-native AI and MLOps infrastructure on AWS • Develop and maintain deployment pipelines for AI-powered applications and services • Support the training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of models in production environments • Design scalable cloud architectures for machine learning workloads • Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform • Operate and improve containerized environments using Kubernetes and associated technologies • Support AI and data engineering teams with platform services, tools, and best practices • Contribute to observability, reliability, security, and cost optimization initiatives • Evaluate and integrate emerging AWS and MLOps technologies where appropriate • Collaborate closely with product teams and platform colleagues in a SCRUM framework Your profile We are looking for a person with the following profile and mindset: • Degree in computer science, engineering, or natural sciences • Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments • Experience in designing and operating cloud-native architectures • Experience in deploying and operating machine learning workloads in the cloud • Good understanding of MLOps principles and ML lifecycle management • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads • Experience with technologies such as SageMaker, Ray, PyTorch, OpenShift AI, Kubeflow, MLflow, or similar platforms is strongly desired • Developed software engineering and automation mindset • Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit • Proficiency in English required • German is a plus Our offer • A challenging role in a respectful and international working environment • Be part of a world-leading high-end CAD software company • Work on cutting-edge technologies in the automotive industry • Professional development organization working on multiple projects, supported by AI-powered tools and dedicated service teams including Architecture and DevOps • Opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning, including the possibility to explore new challenges by changing teams or projects via our annual internal market • Excellent work-life balance with flexible remote work and adaptable working hours, complemented by various sporting activities and company events to support your well-being Start of work on 1 September 2026.
