Your tasks

• Take end-to-end responsibility from conception and solution architecture to the implementation of AI-native solutions for software development
• Analyze requirements of various IT stakeholders and translate them into viable, AI-supported technical solutions
• Design and build modern, cloud-based architectures (Azure) with a focus on AI workloads
• Implement and further develop AI capabilities and services including connection to AI/LLM services (e.g., Azure OpenAI)
• Build and/or integrate AI-native components (e.g., LLM-based services, code assistants, agentic workflows, Coding Harness / OpenCode) into existing systems and dev processes
• Collaborate on the design of prompting strategies, orchestration of AI skills, and integration of coding guidelines into AI-supported development tools
• Ensure security, compliance, and governance requirements when using AI in cooperation with architecture and security
• Collaborate on the automation of build, test, and deployment processes in our CI/CD pipelines, including AI-supported DevOps workflows and close cooperation with Product Owners, Business Engineers, and architects to develop optimal, AI-driven solutions

Your profile

• Completed studies in computer science or comparable professional experience
• Several years of experience as a Solution Engineer / Software Engineer with end-to-end responsibility (concept, architecture, implementation)
• Sound experience in software development (demonstrable programming languages, flexible technology stack)
• Experience with Azure Cloud (e.g., App Services, Functions, Kubernetes, Storage, Identity), ideally in the context of AI/ML workloads
• Initial practical experience or strong interest in AI-native applications (e.g., LLMs, Prompting, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, agentic systems)
• Interest or experience with AI-supported development tools and DevOps platforms (e.g., GitLab Duo, Azure DevOps, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or similar)
• Experience with modern architecture patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven, API-First) is an advantage, ideally combined with AI integrations
• Analytical, structured, and at the same time pragmatic way of working as well as communicative and team-oriented nature
• Very good German and good English skills
