Now that we have introduced the company, let's get to the point: we need your support! What you will do with us # Our real estate platform is one of our strategically most important growth products. To support the next phase of growth, we are looking for a Solution Architect / Team Lead Software Development who will drive the technical vision, engineering excellence, and implementation within our real estate development team. In this role, you combine technical leadership and people management. You work closely with product management, design, and other commercial stakeholders to continuously evolve the product and actively shape the future of the leading Swiss real estate marketplace. Your responsibilities • You lead and support engineers working on our real estate platform - across two development teams. • You define the technical direction of the product, ensure a consistent architecture, and close coordination between the two teams. • You drive the modernization of our technology stack, including the migration of existing monolithic applications to a cloud-native architecture. • You work closely with product management, design, and other engineering teams to reconcile feature development, technical improvements, and operational stability. • You identify technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early and help teams find appropriate solutions. • You recruit, coach, and develop engineers and encourage their professional and personal development. • You assume responsibility for important technical decisions and product-scale initiatives. • You represent engineering to product management and senior commercial stakeholders. About us # What you will do # Your new team # Skills and qualifications required # What we expect from you # • You have proven experience in managing software development teams - including recruitment, coaching, mentoring, and performance management. • You have experience with large, highly frequented, and user-oriented software platforms on which several teams work together. • You have in-depth knowledge of software architecture and system design and make balanced decisions between product development, technical debt reduction, and long-term investments in the platform. • You like to work closely with Product Managers and commercial stakeholders, communicate clearly, and create interdisciplinary alignment. • You have practical experience in software development, stay close to technology and code, and support your team technically if necessary. • You have experience with modern cloud-native technologies and platforms (e.g., Azure and Kubernetes). Knowledge of .NET as well as React/Next.js is a plus. • You have experience with agent-based coding or show a strong willingness to integrate AI-assisted software development practices into your daily professional life. • You communicate fluently in English. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
