Fullstack DevOps Engineer (m/w/d)

Our 9-member DevOps team Hulk is a well-coordinated team of fullstack developers and business engineers. Following the DevOps approach, you operate and develop three applications: the Service Layer Zahlungsverkehr, a modern cloud-based solution for processing investigations in Zahlungsverkehr, and from November 2026, a new application for Interbank Charges. Through transparency, shorter processing times, and a self-service offering, you create a new customer experience in Zahlungsverkehr.

You bring a high willingness to learn, broad IT competence, and experience in agile working methods such as Kanban, Scrum, or SAFe. You enjoy modern application development and want to take responsibility for operations and further development together with your team.

Your tasks

• Implementing requirements in the backend (Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Linux) and in the frontend (TypeScript, Angular, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3)
• Being responsible for the further development and stable operation of our systems within the framework of the DevOps philosophy
• Supporting the team in promoting junior staff
• Carrying out technical conceptions, analyses, and design of new features in close cooperation with our specialist colleagues
• Setting technical and methodological impulses within the team

Your profile

• Completed education in the field of computer science (e.g., FH, Uni, ETH or equivalent training)
• 2-5 years of professional experience in the development of modern web applications and in dealing with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript
• Knowledge in Continuous Integration and Delivery (e.g., CloudBees/Jenkins, Maven, Tomcat, Nexus, GitLab)
• You score with teamwork skills, enjoy researching new topics, and sharing your know-how
• Joy in accompanying our applications along the entire product lifecycle, from conception to operation
• Very good German skills and an open, transparent communication style as well as a good understanding of Swiss German
