Working closely with business stakeholders, software engineering teams, and infrastructure specialists, you will transform business needs into secure, scalable, and practical technological solutions. In this role, you will define our technological architecture, guide key technical decisions, and drive the evolution of our application landscape. You will work across teams to ensure our technology is fit for purpose, promote architectural best practices, and support engineers in delivering high-quality solutions. As a senior technical leader, you will help foster a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing is encouraged, innovation is stimulated, and continuous improvement is part of our way of working. What you will do • Define and maintain the target architecture for business applications and technological platforms in accordance with the company's strategic objectives. • Design end-to-end technological solutions that are scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles. • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across software development initiatives. • Lead and mentor software engineering teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence. • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. • Drive the evolution of the enterprise application landscape and contribute to the long-term technological roadmap. • Establish and promote architecture standards, development best practices, and solution governance across projects. • Review solution designs to ensure consistency with security, performance, scalability, integration, and compliance requirements. • Support the success of strategic technological initiatives by providing architectural oversight and technical decision-making. • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to increase efficiency, innovation, and operational resilience. • Coach and support engineers and technical leads, encouraging knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and professional development. • Develop and maintain architectural documentation, standards, and technical roadmaps. • Ensure that technological solutions comply with relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. What you will need • Master's degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field. • Extensive experience in software architecture, enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or in a senior software engineering role within a complex IT environment. • Proven experience in leading software engineering initiatives and mentoring technical teams, with the ability to inspire collaboration and drive high performance. • Strong understanding of software architecture, systems integration, cloud technologies, APIs, distributed systems, and modern software development practices. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance strategic thinking and pragmatic solution design. • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influence skills, with the ability to work effectively between technical and business teams. • Knowledge of financial markets, trading operations, and associated regulatory requirements is an asset. • High level of flexibility, initiative, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. • Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and the delivery of high-quality technological solutions.
