Senior Software Engineer & Solution Architect The Vantage Education Group is the leading education group in Switzerland with over twelve educational institutions. Together we develop innovative continuing education offers that combine theory and practice at the highest level. Senior Software Engineer & Solution Architect We are further developing our central system landscape for the educational organization. At the center is our own Student Information System based on Angular, FastAPI, PostgreSQL and Azure - including interfaces to CRM, ERP, LMS and Analytics. As of 1. October 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for an experienced personality who combines software development, business understanding and system design. You implement solutions yourself and in a team, take on technical leadership and create structures through which knowledge is shared, documented and becomes maintainable in the long term. Your tasks: Further development of our Student Information System and the associated applications Conception and implementation of robust solutions with Angular, FastAPI (Async, Pydantic, Routing), PostgreSQL and Azure Development of APIs, integrations and data flows between SIS, CRM, ERP, LMS and Analytics Improvement of code quality, testing, security, performance, CI/CD and operational stability Translation of business processes and requirements into clear technical solutions Definition of system boundaries, interfaces, data models and architectural decisions Sparring on Data Governance, integration architecture and Enterprise Architecture Technical leadership through code reviews, design reviews, pairing and common standards What you bring with you: Several years of experience in professional software development, ideally in a Senior or Lead role Very good knowledge in modern frontend and backend development Good knowledge in Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS Good knowledge in API development and relational databases Experience with Azure, cloud architectures and CI/CD Understanding of system design, integration architecture, security and productive operation Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into implementable solutions Clear, structured and documentation-oriented way of working Confident communication in German (at least B2), English skills are an advantage What is important to us: We are looking neither for a pure architecture role without operative implementation nor for a pure development role without interest in business processes and system connections.
