For a bank in Zürich, we are looking for an experienced personality for the further development of existing Market Risk applications.
In a team of eight developers and nine specialist employees, you technically implement requirements from Risk Management and Trading. You develop new functions and interfaces and support the stability and performance of the risk and trading applications.

Tasks:

• Analysis of specialist requirements from Market Risk, Credit Risk and Trading as well as translation into technical specifications
• Development of new functions and further development of existing components with Java and Kotlin
• Connection of trading systems, market data, reference data, reporting and risk platforms
• Ensuring performance, stability and maintainability, especially for intraday and end-of-day processing
• Carrying out unit, integration and regression tests as well as supporting specialist acceptance tests
• Error analysis and troubleshooting in 3rd level support
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation

Experience:

• Many years of experience in application development at expert level, corresponding to eight to twelve years
• Sound knowledge of Java and Kotlin
• Good practical knowledge in Microsoft SQL Server, Linux and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, PL/SQL and Windows
• Experience in the development and integration of interfaces
• Experience with software testing as well as the analysis of performance and stability problems
• Ability to translate complex specialist requirements into maintainable technical solutions
• Structured way of working and enjoyment of working with development and specialist departments
• German and English skills at C2 level
