You can make this contribution • Implement software architecture and software design, as well as co-responsible for security, code quality and solution operation • Participate in determining, implementing and verifying software development specifications • Proactively help shape the SDLC toolchain (templates, CI/CD infrastructure, etc.) • Co-responsible for integration and configuration of NinJo, the central meteorological workstation system • Responsible for and drive technology topics • Review solution architectures and ensure their implementation What makes you unique • Passionate software engineer with experience in Java, Python and automation • Solid experience in data-oriented software development with a focus on quality, security and availability, ideally in hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Openshift) • Strong sense of quality and joy in developing, integrating and operating complex software, such as the specialist system NinJo • Team player with a proactive attitude, collaborative way of working and willingness to work on standby • Strong customer focus and interest in the technical context • You have active knowledge of two official languages and English In brief You have the opportunity to actively help shape the digital future of MeteoSchweiz in a collaborative team. You are interested in robust solution design with security from the start, in sustainable software development and in the integration of central systems in the fields of meteorology and climatology. With this knowledge, you will develop both our SDLC toolchain and other specialist systems. This will make an important contribution to reliable, innovative solutions that effectively support the official tasks of MeteoSchweiz.
