Test Engineer - Tosca

• IT - Software Engineering • Zürich • Contracting • Full-time • 01.09.2026 - 31.12.2027 with option to extend • Tricentis Tosca, Jira, Xray, ALM, CI/CD Your tasks: • Conception, development and maintenance of automated test cases with Tricentis Tosca for regression tests, smoke tests and end-to-end tests • Analysis of business requirements, specifications and user stories as well as derivation of suitable test cases and acceptance criteria • Creation, maintenance and optimization of manual and automated test cases to ensure high test coverage • Effort estimation for the implementation of automated tests and coordination with specialist departments, test management and other stakeholders • Setup, administration and maintenance of test data as well as ensuring data quality for test executions • Planning, execution and monitoring of automated test runs including analysis and documentation of test results • Identification, analysis, documentation and tracking of defects in the test management and tracking tools used • Close cooperation with developers, test managers, test analysts and specialist departments for error analysis and sustainable quality improvement • Support in test coverage and risk analyses as well as in the identification of suitable automation candidates • Collaboration in the continuous optimization of the existing test automation landscape as well as the test processes • Creation of reports on test progress, defects, risks and test coverage for test management   Your profile: • Several years of experience as a Test Engineer or Test Analyst in complex IT projects, ideally in a banking environment • Very good knowledge of functional testing and test case design • Sound experience with Tricentis Tosca (test case modeling, modules, execution lists, TDS is an advantage) • Tosca certifications (e.g. AS1, AS2, AE1, TDS1, TDS2) are an advantage • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Xray or ALM • Experience in test automation as well as ideally with CI/CD pipelines • Structured, analytical and quality-oriented way of working • Very good German skills as well as English skills from B2 level • Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills
