As Technical Project Management for Public Transport Planning Software (m/f/d) and team member of operational support, it is your task to accompany our customers from the offer phase to the introduction of new features in the area of travel and schedule planning, service planning and dispatching. You look after existing customer systems and also accompany our customers in a partnership-based manner in everyday life to ensure the smooth use of our systems. You work as technical project management or in project teams in the context of our operational planning software on both internal and external development and customer projects. After successful induction, you will take responsibility for projects and products. You recognize potentials and work together with development to continuously shape our products. You translate complex logical requirements into precise specifications for our software development. You support our customers comprehensively in product use – from competent consulting to error analysis and solution development. You conduct workshops at the customer's site, both online and on-site in nearby foreign countries. What should you bring? A sound technical education or a degree with a technical, ideally also with a social science, geographical or commercial background. Relevant professional experience in a comparable role. A high degree of analytical thinking, willingness to learn and a very exact, independent way of working. The ability to react flexibly to dynamic changes in topics in everyday work. A communicative, team-oriented nature and a confident appearance towards customers. Confident handling of MS Windows and common software tools. Ideally initial experience in script creation and basic knowledge of PostgreSQL. Willingness to travel for approximately 4–12 days per quarter (domestic and nearby foreign countries).
