Test Analyst

Your Responsibilities: ###

Estimate the effort required for manual and automated testing and align estimates with business stakeholders
Create and maintain test cases based on business requirements and user stories
Prepare and manage test data for functional and non-functional testing
Execute manual tests and document test results and defects
Analyze, track and document defects in close collaboration with development teams and business stakeholders
Analyze test coverage and identify opportunities for improvement
Support the selection and preparation of test cases for test automation
Assess risks and prioritize testing activities accordingly
Prepare test reports covering test progress, quality and risks
Support and advise business departments on testing activities and testing methodologies

Proven experience in software testing, including test analysis, test design, test execution and defect management
ISTQB® Certified Tester Advanced Level - Test Analyst (CTAL-TA)
Basic knowledge of or initial experience with test automation, ideally using Tosca, is an advantage
Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or ALM
Strong analytical, structured and quality-focused mindset
High level of accountability and ability to work independently in a remote/offsite environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and IT stakeholders
Fluent English, both written and spoken; German is an advantage
