Principal Architect

We collaborate with Anthropic behind Alpha Factory, the first Swiss center of excellence for human-centric AI adoption. We are strengthening our team of experts and are looking for a passionate Principal Architect to drive transformation within major Swiss organizations, based in our Zurich office. Your mission ### • Architect and deliver scalable, secure cloud-native solutions aligned with business needs, including containerized architectures and CI/CD pipelines, with integrated AI capabilities • Lead end-to-end architecture on complex projects, from pre-sales to production deployment, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction • Define strategic architectural decisions and act as the technical interface between teams and stakeholders, translating business needs into pragmatic solutions and producing associated documentation (ADRs, guidelines) • Actively participate in development (code reviews, POCs, AI pipeline design, critical components) while ensuring overall technical consistency • Contribute to strengthening internal skills through mentoring, AI technology monitoring, and the improvement of best practices • More than 10 years of experience in software architecture on large-scale projects, with solid expertise in modern patterns (microservices, event-driven, hexagonal, clean architecture) and design principles (SOLID, DDD) • A true passion for AI and practical experience in the design or integration of LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, and agentic systems • Excellent mastery of Java Spring Boot or .NET stacks • Experience in building scalable and resilient systems using cloud and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS) • Demonstrated skills in technical leadership, stakeholder management, and communication between business and IT teams • Practical experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and application security (OWASP, authentication/authorization, encryption) • Mastery of allemand and English (minimum C1 level); French is a plus • A dynamic and collaborative culture with a strong customer focus, working with prestigious Swiss organizations on diverse and innovative technological projects • A growth-oriented environment with a clear career trajectory and opportunities for rapid progression • A modern work model combining office presence, teleworking, and collaboration at client sites • A competitive salary and a healthy work-life balance • A team of experts always ready to share their knowledge, supported by a proven mentoring model to accompany your personal and professional development. *Ready to have a real impact on AI adoption in Switzerland?* Join our team of experts in a company where technology, innovation, and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do.
